Loved the parking space next to the cottage, felt like a VIP. The terrace was delightful for sipping my champagne. And the nearby airport provided all the excitement of jet engines without the inconvenience of actually going anywhere.
Ah, the joy of staying in a property where the pillows are as hard as bricks. Sleeping was like having a headrest made of rocks.

The accommodation was well laid out and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short break. The cottage was clean and modern, with a nice courtyard/garden and a parking space. We also appreciated the basic essentials that were provided, such as soap and washing up liquid.
There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the pillows were a bit too hard and deep for our liking.

We had a wonderful stay at Old Spot Cottage. The cottage was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, making it a cozy and comfortable home away from home. The courtyard and parking space were convenient additions. The basic essentials provided, such as soap and washing up liquid, were a nice touch. Despite a few minor inconveniences like the lack of a tea towel and cushions in the living room, our overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this cottage for a short stay in the area. I will recommend this accommodation for its cleanliness, amenities, and charming atmosphere.

Spotlessly clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated - a perfect place for a short stay. Loved the courtyard and parking space. Also, had a good laugh watching planes take off from Humberside Airport, just a skip away.
Oh, the delight of a freezing bathroom with a noisy fan and an orchestra of motor sounds throughout the day. Such a peaceful lullaby to help me sleep!

Old Spot Cottage was the perfect place for our family to stay during our visit to the charming town of Tickton. The property had a lovely terrace where we could enjoy the fresh air and relax after a day of exploring. Its location, just 17km from the Hull New Theatre, made it convenient for us to catch a show and immerse ourselves in the vibrant entertainment scene. The cottage itself was well-designed and equipped, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the faultless communication with the hosts to the high standard of cleanliness, we felt truly at home during our time at Old Spot Cottage.
For families, it would be great to have a small play area or games room for the children to enjoy.
